We are delighted to announce the formation of the inaugural leadership team for the Yew Chung Yew Wah (YCYW) Northern China Alumni Chapter. The team’s formation is the result of an open nomination and selection process. We are proud to introduce the dedicated alumni who will lead the chapter in developing our alumni network across the region.

President: Ms Yu Tung Teresa Li

Ms Li is a 2019 graduate of Yew Chung International School of Beijing. She holds a marketing degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Juris Doctor in Law from the University of Hong Kong.
She believes that effective chapter leadership requires creative thinking, communication skills, dedication, and the ability to manage projects. Her background in marketing developed her capacity for innovative problem-solving, and her legal training refined her presentation and organisational skills. Since secondary school, Teresa has volunteered with several NGOs, and has demonstrated long-term commitment to community service and event management. She will lead the chapter with a vision to bring alumni together.

Vice President: Ms Tiffany Zhang

Ms Zhang graduated from Yew Wah International Education School of Yantai in 2019. She completed a BSc in Management at the University of Bath and currently works as a Tax Analyst in Deloitte’s International Tax Consulting team.
At the University of Bath, Tiffany was the President of the Chinese Dance Society, and directed a flagship Chinese New Year Gala attended by senior leaders of the university and the city. She also served as a student ambassador and volunteered at campus recruitment events. In addition, she organised a charity bake-off that raised more than £5,000 for Bristol Children’s Hospital. Tiffany will bring outstanding leadership and event coordination skills to promote alumni connections in Northern China.

Vice President: Ms Rui Ying Clarisse Leong

Clarisse is a 2023 graduate of Yew Chung International School of Chongqing and is currently a third-year student majoring in Psychology at Nanyang Technological University.
Guided by her personal motto—“Making everyone I meet better because of me”—Clarisse founded and led the YCIS Chongqing Student Support Group, leading a 10-member team to support more than 300 participants and have a positive impact on more than 200 students. She has also volunteered with community service organisations. With a background in psychology and a passion for service, she aims to build an inclusive and supportive alumni network.

We are confident that under the guidance of this newly appointed team, the Northern China Alumni Chapter will thrive and provide meaningful opportunities for connections, development, and mutual support. We thank all alumni who submitted nominations and supported the selection process. We look forward to working together, as we continue to develop our YCYW alumni community!
