On 6 November, during the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), at the Hong Kong Services Pavilion, Dr Esther Chan, Deputy CEO (K-12 Education) of Yew Chung Yew Wah Education Network, provided a detailed overview of the institution's development history and achievements in the Chinese mainland operations to Vice Mayor of Shanghai, Ms Xie, who visited the booth. Chief School Operations Officer Ms Rita Chen also participated in the reception.

Dr Esther Chan emphasised Yew Chung Yew Wah's over 90-year history in education and its developments and achievements in Shanghai. She explained that Yew Chung Yew Wah is an international educational institution with a 90-year legacy, which has grown "originating in Hong Kong, backed by the strength of the Motherland, and embracing the world." The organisation has established a comprehensive education system spanning early childhood education to postgraduate studies. Currently, Yew Chung Yew Wah has built a high-quality educational network in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region, covering early childhood to secondary education. Vice Mayor Xie expressed her appreciation for Yew Chung Yew Wah's long-term commitment to international education and the achievements made in its development in Shanghai.

This interaction at the CIIE highlights the benchmark role Yew Chung Yew Wah plays in advancing the internationalisation of education. Going forward, the institution will continue to deepen its educational footprint in the Chinese Mainland, with a focus on cultivating exceptional talents with a global perspective, cross-cultural communication skills, and innovative spirit, and contributing more wisdom and strength to promote the international development of China's education industry.
