Students from across the YCYW Education Network have recently participated in a national learning initiative at the National Museum of China, transforming the museum into an inspiring classroom beyond school walls.

As part of the programme, students from YCIS Beijing and YWIES Beijing Yizhuang explored the special exhibition Pompeii: A Never-Ending Discovery, embarking on a fascinating journey through two millennia of history. Through close observation, inquiry and discussion, they gained fresh perspectives on ancient civilisations, cross-cultural connections and the relevance of history to contemporary life. The opportunity also highlighted the strengths of YCYW's multilingual and multicultural learning community, where students are encouraged to engage with history and culture through diverse perspectives and meaningful dialogue.
