📢 As a pioneer of international education in China, the Yew Chung Yew Wah (YCYW) Education Network, in collaboration with global education experts, is proud to launch a free public dialogue platform: the Yew Chung Yew Wah Education Lecture Series, themed "Challenges and Breakthroughs in Contemporary Education."
Guided by the mission "Empowering Every Child to Become a Builder of the Future World," this series focuses on the restructuring of education amidst the AI revolution. It aims to share cutting-edge global educational practices, explore pathways for international cultivation for Chinese families within the current global landscape, and contribute innovative models to the modernization of education in China.
‘My child isn't “naughty and disruptive”—they simply require different guidance.’ This cry from a parent of an autistic child echoes the plight of countless families with special needs children. In China, approximately 16.72 million children have special educational needs. For years, they have either been “hidden” due to scarce resources or “excluded” by cognitive biases, making it difficult for them to access appropriate educational support.
In this diverse and inclusive society, every child is unique, each bringing their own traits and potential to weave a vibrant tapestry of childhood. Yet for children with special needs and their families, the journey is often fraught with greater challenges and difficulties.
