Over the course of the programme, students will work together in small groups on a research design task. For students who put in extra work beyond the programme, it may be possible to publish results to a student or international journal. Our marine scientists and EdFutures staA can support students and small groups who wish to continue their research.

Additionally, this event serves as the Marine Science themed experience track for the China-US Young Maker Competition. Initiated in 2014, the China-US Young Maker Competition is a significant cultural exchange project jointly proposed by Liu Yandong, Vice Premier of China's State Council, and John Kerry, the US Secretary of State. This competition has been oAicially included in the outcome list of the China-US High-Level Consultation on Peopleto- People Exchange mechanism, highlighting its crucial role in promoting youth exchange and innovation between the two countries. As an experience track of this renowned competition, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity, receive guidance from experts, and potentially be selected for next year's formal competition.
